Adam turned the big 3-2 today. The kids loved celebrating with him. They each made special birthday cards for him and Britton planned a whole party for him tonight. Rarely does a day pass without Britton coming to me with a piece of paper and pencil wanting to make a list about something. Today's list was for planning Dad's birthday party, "Ok, Mom, after cake and presents we HAVE to play Uno because that is Dad's favorite game, and then we can play some other games. . .let's make a list of all of the games we are going to play." Adam is such a sport and will always take the time to play games with the kids. I had to laugh when Britton declared that Uno was Adam's favorite game. We know that Britton enjoys playing it so Adam never turns down a request to play--what a great Dad!

Happy Birthday to Adam!
UNO isn't his favorite game?!?!? We were playing UNO with our kids on Sunday afternoon and Nate and I were both dreaming of the day when our kids can play a real game. Right now, we are still at the stage where nobody's cards are secret and we have to play our hands strategically just to make sure everyone gets a chance to win. Fun times.
