Check!

We've been busy doing all of the household projects that we've been putting off for years. Now, there is a reason we've been putting them off--the "hassle factor" for each one has been huge. Today we got new carpet in the upstairs bedrooms (yea!). Moving everything out, taking all of the beds apart, ripping up the carpet (which brought back many memories from my childhood by the way), and putting it all back together tonight reminded us why we haven't done it before now so you can imagine how good it feels to check this project off the list!

Yesterday we hit 75 F and the kids were so excited for such a warm day they had their swimming suits on and were playing with the hose in the back yard. It didn't even hit 80 and they were out frolicking in the water. It is amazing how perspective changes after a long hard winter and cool spring (as in cold, not awesome.)

Korinne has become a little parrot. She repeats everything everyone says. Tonight I even saw her trying to police Jenna. Jenna was trying to touch Adam's cordless drill and there was Korinne hitting away Jenna's hand every time she tried to touch it saying, "Stop touching it Jenna! Don't touch it!" What killed me was that Jenna kept trying. Here is a picture of the girls on Sunday in their "twinner" dresses. I don't really do the matching dress thing very often so they get really excited when I do.

Oh my gosh, Korinne is a miniature Hilary! It's almost a little eerie. We're keeping Adam busy with our on again, off again sale of our house. It's fun to see what the rest of the family is up to. Hope you're all well.
