The next morning my Dad and Adam took the kids to the zoo. It's nice to be able to say "what a zoo" and have it refer to an ACTUAL zoo and not my kitchen.
I helped my Mom catch up at her office and after a quick visit at Aunt Kimberly's house we were off again. Hope you had a great birthday Grandma!
On Sunday morning Jenna came running into our room, "It's February! It's February!" Yes, it is February. Jenna's birthday is in February and she is just a little bit excited. She will be 6, but it feels like she has already been 6 for a long time. People are always kind of surprised when I tell them she is 5. She just looks older.
Here's to a great February!

Happy birthday month to Jenna! The zoo looks cold. What good sports to go to the zoo in winter weather. But I guess kids never realize the weather if something fun is going on.

You have taught your children well. It sounds like they love their birthdays almost as much as you love yours! Where's the countdown ticker? Ha, ha.
Sounds like a fun weekend. The zoo does look cold. Were the animals out and about? It will be a long month for Jenna or maybe she will just celebrate the whole month. That sounds fun! Mom and Dad C.
Thanks for coming down to celebrate my birthday and help catch things up in the office. It was awesome. I don't think the zoo was too cold. Both the kids, Dads and animals were all running around having a great time!
that is really strange that your children would be obsessed with their own birthdays...like maybe even celebrate their half birthday or something. wonder where they got that from...

I definitely would have thought Jenna was already 6. She seems so grown up!
