Here we go. . .

We hit Adam's family reunion this year in sunny (and excruciatingly hot) S.G.  During the reunion we had a birthday bash for G.G., Adam's grandmother who is turning 90 years old.  In the picture above Adam and his siblings are singing a song to her about their experiences going to her rustic cabin while growing up.  The big joke in the family is that the musical talent didn't show up until child #6, but the oldest 6 kids were good sports and sang the song anyway.

The guest of honor.

Korinne loved all the prizes she received from the children's games at the party.

We aren't great at taking pictures and after taking a few fuzzy ones at the birthday party we didn't take any more during the entire 3 day reunion.  Oops.  So, here is a quick recap of the adventures:

* Adam and I got to attend the temple with Grandma C.
* Jumpin Jax indoor playland. Definitely a favorite with the kids.
* Outdoor movie in Aunt Jaclyn's backyard complete with popcorn and root beer floats.
* Swimming at Uncle Stephen's "bachelor pad" pool.
* Fireworks at Aunt Bethany's house
* Church at Gramma's and Grampa's ward
* 4 late nights and 4 early mornings (funny how there are always a few kids who get up way too early and ruin it for the rest of us. he he)
* Water parties with cousins.  (Anything to keep the kids cool was a bit hit.)

Adam had one brother who wasn't able to make it to the reunion this year, but 9 out of 10 isn't bad.  The kids had a lot of fun playing and getting to know cousins they don't see very often.  Even with the HOT weather, we survived because we really weren't outside very often.  We left after church on Sunday and made it to the baby blessing of my brother Taylor's daughter June and finally home by about 8 p.m. Sunday night.

Good times.
