Both Adam's family and my family have a knack for planning their reunions at the same time every year. Some years they overlap significantly and other years we are able to simply go from one reunion straight to the other. Why this happens every year I don't know, but for the 6th year in a row we had back to back reunions. Fortunately this time we had a 24 hour break between the reunions to unload, do some laundry, celebrate a holiday, re-pack and head back out.
This year my parents rented a 7 bedroom, 7 1/2 bathroom cabin at B.L. The hot tub on the back deck was a hit with the kids.
And so was the pool.
And so were the blow up slides
In true Hilary fashion I forgot to take pictures, but took a few while everyone was cleaning up and getting ready to head out this morning. (They really appreciated my timing)
There was one goal for this family reunion--to find out which location in town truly had the best raspberry shake. They all said they had the best shakes, but which one really had the best? After going to 4 different shake establishments and doing side by side tasting it was decided that for our family the shakes from Hometown were the best.
Mission accomplished.

Looks like fun! Sorry to have missed it, but we finally found a place to live! ( on the same day as the reunion) I guess not being homeless is important.

Did you try the shakes at the Chevron as you head into Logan Canyon? They are the best! They use hand scooped hard ice cream. Impossible for any of the others to beat, and their price is better too if I remember correctly.
