She's lost it

Jenna lost her first tooth this morning. She said she needed to go to the bathroom, and when she came out she had her tooth in hand. She was pretty excited. She and Britton are only 18 months apart and Britton has lost 8 teeth and has 6 permanent teeth and she hadn't even lost her first. We knew it was coming because her permanent tooth had already grown in behind her baby tooth. She is excited for her first visit from the tooth fairy (even though our family's tooth fairy is pretty stingy).

We had some quality girl bonding time this morning before Jenna went to Kindergarten. This was the fingernail painting portion of the day. The girls were great about not moving their hands off the paper until their nails were completely dry.

I love to watch Jenna and Korinne playing together in the mornings while Britton is at school. It's obvious Korinne wants to be just like Jenna and Jenna is always very willing to help Korinne with everything. They have their spats when Korinne gets really stubborn and refuses to share, but then they are fine again. More often than not they are in dress ups. It's their favorite thing to play.

Benson came home from school yesterday and told me his tooth was loose. He's been anticipating this ever since he started kindergarten. Apparently in his social circle loosing a tooth means you are cool.
This milestone make me sad. I almost cried when he told me he was on the verge of loosing that first tooth. I'm not ready for this growing up stuff. I like it when they are little.
What are the tooth fairy's going rates these days?

Oh, and post pics of the new house!

Lucky for you that tooth still came out even with the new one already grown in. That happened to Brinley but we had to pay the dentist to pull out the baby tooth because the roots never loosened. Cute new pics!
