After the 1st week of school we got to go to Lagoon one more time with cousins.
Fortunately Grandpa was nice enough to come along and take Jameson and Quinn on a few rides so we could run around and ride as many rides as we could the first hour it was open. After that it got very very crowded.
Sometimes Britton is a really good sport.
Jameson was finally able to take a tour of his new classroom this week during an open house. He starts preschool at the university child development lab the day after Labor Day.

As soon as he saw the trains out he decided he was going to like preschool.
The doors opened at 6:30 for the 7:00 show, but you basically had to be in line long before that to even get a seat in the auditorium. We bought the newest book that won't be released until next week on the way in. Britton was on page 68 before the show even started.

It was a lot of fun and the kids were glad we braved the crowds. A lot of big name authors in this genre are from Utah have big launch parties in SLC, but Tyler always does his in our town because this is where he grew up. It's nice to have one so close. By the time we went home Britton had already read 182 pages of the book. That's a lot of time spent waiting in lines! That, and he is a very fast reader. :-)

Fantastic! Yes, Britton can surely read a book quickly!
