Frightmares

Monday night we went with Gramma and Grampa to the American West Heritage Center and as is always the case on such visits, the train was the first stop.

Jameson loved riding in the caboose with Korinne.

One last look at the engine before moving on.

Next up for Jameson was a pony ride.  This was his first time on a horse.

He liked it.

Before entering the corn maze the kids stopped and played on the giant pirate ship made out of hay bails.

It was dusk as we entered the maze and Korinne was determined to be in charge.

Ok, it may or may not have taken us quite a bit longer to get through it this year.  It was pretty dark when we finally made it out, but we did make it out.:-)  Jameson was so over the corn maze by this point that he just laid back in the stroller and pretended to sleep.

Gramma and Grampa had to say goodbye on Tuesday morning, but it was great great to have them here for a few days.

Thursday night was a little crazy in the schedule dept, but we were able to make an appearance at Britton and Jenna's piano recital. . .just long enough for them to play that is.

Jenna played "Jenna's Dance" and Britton played a beautiful arrangement of "How Great the Wisdom and the Love"

After the recital Britton had to change in the car and get to his soccer practice.  His last game of the season was on Saturday.  Now they go to indoor practices for the winter.

Our little neighbor, Presley, turned 1 year old this week and her family had all of the kids from the circle over for a little cake and ice cream to celebrate.  You don't have to invite twice, the kids came out in full force and posed for a picture with the birthday girl.

Jameson absolutely adores Presley.

Friday night we went to Frightmares at Lagoon.  We knew it was probably going to be the last hurrah and were hoping a Friday would be less crowded than a Saturday. We were able to ride all of the big rides one last time.

I never did get around to going on the Music Express this summer, so Britton and I decided to cross it off the list.

It was fun, but we had to keep Jameson in kiddieland and away from the zombies wondering around the park.  They don't bother the little kids, but just seeing them from a distance was too much for Jmo.

I'm sad to see our season passes ending. I think we'll do it again in a few years when Jameson is tall enough to go on all the rides.
