When the Middle School was out of school for parent/teacher conferences on a random Friday in April Korinne was a good sport and went for lunch in a park with AJ and me on a BEAUTIFUL spring day.
Soccer season is in full swing for Jameson. Adam is coaching his rec team this spring.
Coach Adad
On Easter Sunday we got up early and drove to Rexburg to hear Brinley speak before leaving on her mission to Dallas Texas.
A few days before this Adam and I got the heads up that our ward boundaries would be realigned on April 28th and he would be released as Bishop. With this information Adam knew he needed to stay back and tie up loose ends on his last full Sunday as Bishop.
Grandma P prepared an Easter Egg Hunt on a rainy Easter Sunday in Rexburg.
Jameson and AJ line up with cousins for the big hunt.
It was a very successful hunt for goodies.
Britton walking with the green striped shirt and blue socks.
'Adam's brother Micah came up from SLC to see Britton's last game and to visit us.
Adam and Micah were very patient while playing Mario Kart Monopoly with Jameson. It is much more complicated than the normal Monopoly, for the record.
On Sunday, April 28th our stake held a special ward alignment meeting at the Stake Center at 3:00 p.m. In this meeting they created 3 wards out of 2 and our family was put into the new ward, the Prov. Canyon Ward. Everyone in our entire ward was released from their callings and then they released Adam as the Bishop of the Prov. 10 ward and called 2 new Bishoprics for the Prov. 10 ward and the Prov. Canyon ward. The big surprise of the meeting was that they split our neighborhood into 2 different wards so we are no longer in the same ward as some of our good friends who live 5 houses down from us. They also moved us to the Stake Center for our Sunday meetings. It is kind of funny, but we have lived in the same house for 10 years and during that time we have been a part of 3 different wards and attended church in 3 different buildings. Yeah, that can only happen here. Ironically we will finally be attending church at the building closest to our home. For years we drove past 2 churches to get to ours. Of course they are all a stone's throw from each other, but it is still kind of funny.
The family after Adam was released as Bishop.
This is the first and last day of Adam's service as the Bishop. Wow, we have grown up a lot!
Jenna danced in the end of year Ballroom Showcase for Enlight Ballroom last night. She was amazing and we really enjoyed the show.
Every year at this final show all of the Seniors who are graduating get to dance a solo showcase. One of the seniors, Aiden, asked Jenna to be his partner for his showcase so she was able to dance a fun Mamba routine with him. It was cute and fun and Jenna did a fantastic job.
