Officially Fall

After a month of travels for my parents AJ was excited when he saw Grandpa out mowing his lawn one day.

It's good to see that the boys actually do like each other sometimes.

They both have such big personalities and the transition has been bumpy at times, but they really love each other and are happy to be brothers.

My college friend Kaylynn was in town from Canada for a few hours so I went and hung out at the rodeo with her.  It's always good to see a member of the K-1 crew.

At the last minute we ended up with tickets for the Sunday morning of General Conference.  We were up bright and early and on the road by 7:30 a.m. to get in our seats before Music and the Spoken Word.

Adam's sister Kirsti and her family were also in the meeting and had something in their car they wanted to give Adam to give to another sister, Kim, when we went to St. George over UEA. We parked right by each other, but didn't see each other until after the meeting.

We made it home just in time for the afternoon session and were saddened to learn of the passing of Elder Robert D. Hales just minutes after the morning session had ended.

We decided it was time for the kids to start helping us change AJ's stinky diapers.  This picture captures the group mid-change and Britton's look says it all.

On Monday night we attended the Realtor Association night at the America West Heritage Center.  It was fun to have cousins Elsie and Quinn come with us as they were staying at Grandma and Grandpa's this week.

We did well on the corn maze this year and were out before it got dark.

It was Homecoming week at the high school and Quinn and Elsie also came along for the Homecoming parade Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Britton (in gray shirt and blue pants on far left) walked along behind the float with the cross country team.  With over 100 members of the team it was quite a crowd. They had a race earlier that afternoon but it wasn't far from the school so they still made it to the parade.

Korinne, Jameson and AJ spent hours playing with their cousins during the week.  Jameson and Korinne even had Friday off of school for parent/ teacher conferences. 

On Saturday morning Adam took Britton to a soccer game and I took Korinne, Jameson and AJ to a Genesis Group primary activity at the Cross E Ranch.  It was our first activity with the Genesis Group and we are excited to go to more in the future.  We were able to see and be with a lot of families that look just like us.

Ridgeline pulled out a win at the Homecoming game on Friday night and Britton had fun with his group at the dance and day activities for Homecoming on Saturday.
